SurrogacyThis usually takes place when the woman cant produce eggs of a high enough quality to produce a pregnancy. A surrogate is a woman who agrees to become pregnant using the man's sperm and her own egg. This will lead to a child who is genetically related to the male partner and the surrogate, but the surrogate agrees to give the baby to the couple at birth.
